Something in my soul wants to yell its battle cry.

To wake me up to this very moment.

Something in my soul wants to touch the soft bodies.

Of my dearest friends.

Something in my soul wants to be free.

And to fly as high and as far as I'm able.

Something in my soul wants to lay down on this ground.

And feel the support of the universe holding me up.

Something in my soul knows the inside joke.

And laughs at what the rest of me takes so seriously.

Something in my soul knows the way.

And knows there's nowhere to go.

But home.
